They spent the first week just getting our three resorts onto the same definitions. The portfolio brief that followed finally let ownership stop arguing about apples and oranges. I still wish we had started the exercise a season earlier.
Siriwan Chaiyasit — Regional director, multi-resort group, Surat Thani · Multi-Property Portfolio Comparison
Our monthly occupancy looked fine on paper. The property performance review showed hollow midweeks hiding behind strong weekends. We changed how we staff housekeeping before we touched rates.
Marcus Ellery — General manager, beach resort, Ko Samui · Property Performance Review
The seasonal briefing arrived eight days before we locked the winter calendar. Clear, short, and specific to our arrival patterns — not a generic Thailand market note.
Nattaya Phong — Revenue lead, coastal hotel cluster · Seasonal Demand Briefing
Linking rooms segments to spa and restaurant covers was messy because our systems do not talk cleanly. Datamatrixbase said so up front, then showed us what could still be learned. That honesty mattered more than a polished chart.

Two engagements in more detail

North Shore Villa Cluster Review

48-key villa resort, northern Ko Samui · Property Performance Review

Ownership wanted to know why shoulder ADR held while occupancy slipped. The review separated weekday leisure softness from weekend strength and flagged a long-stay segment that had quietly shrunk after a rate fence change.

The commercial team restored a midweek package aimed at domestic long stays and adjusted housekeeping rotas to match the real weekly shape rather than the monthly average.

Three-House Coastal Portfolio

Beach, hillside, and town properties under one holding company · Multi-Property Portfolio Comparison

Board materials ranked houses by rooms revenue alone. The comparison added seasonality and inventory mix so the hillside resort stopped looking “weak” simply because its high season sits in different months.

Ownership approved a deeper performance review for the town property and left the hillside house’s calendar largely intact.
