Method

How a hospitality analytics engagement unfolds

A repeatable sequence used across property reviews, portfolio comparisons, and seasonal briefings — adapted to each hotel or resort group.

1. Align on definitions

Before any chart is drawn, we agree how occupancy, available rooms, ADR, and outlet covers will be counted for your houses. Portfolio work fails when one resort excludes blocked rooms differently from another.

2. Gather the extracts you already keep

We work from PMS summaries, rate calendars, and outlet reports your finance or revenue desks can export. If a connection between rooms and outlets is incomplete, the brief says so.

3. Read the calendar shape

High season, shoulder weeks, festivals, and group blocks are mapped against the daily or weekly curve. Monthly averages are treated as a starting point, not the answer.

4. Write for the decision ahead

Every brief names the decision it supports — a rate calendar lock, an ownership ranking, a staffing change, or a deeper review of one house. Charts without a decision request stay in the appendix.

5. Walk the findings together

A working session with your commercial or ownership team closes the engagement. Questions are answered live; follow-up actions remain yours to assign.

When we visit the property

On-site days help when outlet layouts, villa inventory, or floor circulation explain numbers the extracts cannot. Remote delivery covers most seasonal briefings and many portfolio comparisons.
